It has become a centre of excellence for psychotherapy, counselling, supervision and training in South Manchester, Stockport and Conwy, North Wales.

smcp is a dedicated psychotherapy, counselling and fully accredited training centre - all training leads to United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) registration or British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)registration.

Next introductory '101' course is in March 2012 at smcp and in February 2012 in Eglwysbach North Wales (lunch and indoor swimming provided).

The south manchester centre for psychotherapy relocated to the heart of Heaton Moor on 1st July 2006. This newly built, large, light and spacious dedicated psychotherapy centre offers a beautiful, clean environment for psychotherapy and counselling work with individuals, couples, groups, children and families.

smcp has high professional standards and is based in the heart of the village of Heaton Moor and at Eglwysbach (within The Bodnant Estate), Conwy, North Wales, .

There is plenty of off road parking in both locations as well as free swimming in an indoor, private pool at the Conwy location.

At smcp we offer:

Psychotherapy available for individuals, children, couples, groups and families.

The Introductory psychotherapy course: Understanding Human Personality or (101) is available all year round as a two day course.

Fully accredited, weekend training in Psychotherapy

15 weekend days per year for those interested in becoming a psychotherapist or counsellor and want to acieve registration with the UKCP or BACP.

These courses can be attended by those in full time employment and those with family commitments. Training can be undertaken for personal, professional and or career development.

smcp is committed to the maintenance of high professional and ethical standards. Therapists and counsellors who work from smcp all represent “mainstream” approaches in therapy; Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural and Person Centred.

All therapists meet the requirements of professional membership, have qualifications matching their practice, are experienced and receive regular clinical supervision.
