South Manchester Centre for Psychotherapy was established in 1992 by Carol Lucas and has become a centre of excellence for psychotherapy, counselling, supervision and training in South Manchester and Stockport.

This newly built, large, spacious, light and dedicated psychotherapy centre opened on 1st July 2006 and offers a beautiful, clean environment for psychotherapy and counselling work with individuals, couples, groups, children and families.
South Manchester Centre for Psychotherapy provides a professional environment of the highest standards which matches the quality of professional practice. Psychotherapists and counsellors working at smcp have undergone an average of eight years training within the psychotherapeutic field, beyond their university and professional education.
smcp is committed to the maintenance of high professional and ethical standards. Therapists and counsellors who work from the centre all represent “mainstream” approaches in therapy; Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural and Person Centred. Hypnotherapy is also available at the centre. All therapists meet the requirements of professional membership, have qualifications matching their practice, are experienced and receive regular clinical supervision.
smcp is open from 9.00am to 9.30pm every day of the week.
