The South Manchester Centre for Psychotherapy was established in 1992 and relocated to large, newly refurbished premises in July 2006 in the centre of Heaton Moor, South Manchester.

The centre is new, large, light, quiet, maintained to a high standard and situated on an unadopted road just off the main Heaton Moor Road.

There are at present five rooms available to hire for private bookings, all are based on the first floor.
There are also two toilets a kitchen, waiting area and cloakroom space.

smcp will be expanding over the next year to include more large training rooms, further toilet facilities and a second kitchen at ground floor level in order to create access for all.



The centre is based in Heaton Moor, South Manchester, which is an attractive village with excellent facilities such as a bakery, wine bar, pub, supermarket, post office, health food café etc all within very close proximity.

Tea, coffee, bottled water, herbal teas etc. are available without charge on a self service basis in the kitchen.

Rooms are available to hire from 9.00am - 9.30pm seven days a week. For training only the rooms are available 9.00am - 5.00pm weekdays and 9.00am - 5.30pm weekends. At weekend the main training room – room 1, automatically includes the use of room 2 as well as the communal facilities.

The room hire charge includes the use of white board, flip chart stand, marker pens, analogue overhead projector and 14 inch TV/video unit when available. Also includes the use of room 2 for weekend bookings only.
